Stavros Mistakidis acquired his degree of Architectural Engineer with flying colours in 2005 from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During the fourth year of his studies he attended lessons at the School of Architecture of the University of Pescara in Italy (Universita degli Studi G. D’ Annunzio). In 2015 he completed with distinction a postgraduate program of continuing education (PEGA) entitled “Urban Reformations @ Green Planning” at Democritus University of Thrace.
Since 2005 he has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and an active freelancer at the wider district of northern Greece. During 2006-2007 he worked as an external partner at architectural and technical offices of the prefecture of Evros and collaboratively established “+THESIS” technical office. Since then he has been taking part in international competitions and parts of his work have been published in Greek architectural magazines, like “Structures”. Since 2009 he has been supervisor of public works and in November 2013 he was elected president of the Architectures Association of Evros.
He is finally a volunteer in programs of the Centre of Continuous Education of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis teaching decoration, in KETHEA and in the Association of cancer patients and friends named “Synehizo”.
